The Bystander Effect
This is another video concerning my theme on Psychology. This video looks at people's natural reaction to bystanders. The video starts with a man who appears to be homeless pretending to be in pain and agonizingly screaming. Most people just watched and ignored his cries for help. When the same person changed his attire, now wearing a suit and lying down on the floor screaming, people surround him in a few seconds to check on his well being. What do you think is the cause of this? Do you think a person's appearance plays a big part in how society sees them?
