Meet April
MeetApril Are you a Teachers College student, and, if so, what are you studying? I'm not a TC student but in case you were wondering I studied library science and user experience at Pratt Institute! Where’s your hometown? San Diego, CA What did you want to be when you grew up? An astronaut but then chose to be an artist due to the fear of running out of air. What was your first job? At 17 years old I became a library aide at my local public library. What has been your best job? My best job has been anytime I've made money off of my art.  My future is definitely making a living as an artist. Your favorite meal: Tacos!  Preferably in Mexico with some horchata. Are you a morning or night person? Night owl. A delicious dessert: Chocolate.  Double chocolate is even better. Song you love no matter how many times you hear it: Going to California by Led Zeppelin A country you’d like to visit: I've been trying to go to Italy for years!  Photos of Tuscany take my breath away. A book you strongly recommend? So hard to just choose one but the first that came to mind was Sula by Toni Morrison. A sport you enjoy playing (or watching)? I'm not a big sports person but I do have fun when I play soccer and basketball.  Water sports are pretty fun too!
